How to Feel Excellent
Feeling excellent is not just about working out or looking good. If you want to feel excellent, it is about balancing mind and body - about being happy and finding purpose and security in life.
Everyone has basic needs, and once these are met (i.e. food, shelter, etc.) there are higher needs that warrant our attention. In Mazlowe's pyramid of human needs, he talks about how to feel excellent in accomplishing these different pillars. Having things like companionship, relationships, a fulfilling career, feeling useful, feeling secure, having a strong sense of identity, being internally motivated - these are all inner sourced things that keep your spirit strong. Only when the body and mind are fused, can you activate the spirit-energy inside you and be one with yourself.
And truly, if you want to feel excellent - being master of yourself and self-actualizing, as Mazlowe puts it, is the ultimate and only way to do it.
So, start wondering about your life - question your career, your direction, your relationships - are they worthwhile? Are you growing, changing? Getting better? Do you have a longterm goal? These are the inquiries you need to make on your road to feeling excellent, and they start today.
