feel excellent about yourself  I started asking people, 'What makes you feel excellent...?  You'd be amazed at the answers I got.  Of course, I got the typical answers - money, sex and stuff like that.  Then they smiled or I did and I said, 'would that really make you happy?.  This is what they said,'No, not really, but it would be a good start.'  Really, if you think about it, sex doesn't make someone happy.  Love can make someone happy and love can evolve to sex.  But sex by itself, typically doesn't make (or rather keep) someone happy.  Does money make you feel excellent?  The initial receiving of it usually makes people feel happy.  But the long term effects of it do not seem to make someone feel excellent.  They have done studies to see if money was a good motivator for good work.  It worked shortly after receiving the bonus but not months after.  The employees actually felt better when they were appreciated and complemented on a regular basis. 

I feel excellent when my family is happy - my children, my husband, my parents, even my siblings and friends.  I like to help others just because.  Sometimes, my children will ask me, 'why would you do that, Mom.'   My answer is always the same, '...because it is the right thing to do.'  It is always the right thing to do if you treat someone the way you want treated.  My body and soul feel excellent when I nourish it spiritually and physically (working out, vitamins and minerals).   My family and I all feel excellent when we share time together.  It really doesn't matter what we are doing because we always make that time count.  You never know if you'll get another second with someone you love, so you better make use of every second you are given. 

A friend wrote the other the other day  to say that her life calling came true.  She received the funding she needed to go on a missionary trip.  She is now on her way to Mexico to help others.  Not an easy life but certainly a rewarding life that will make her feel excellent.

Whatever you do, follow your heart and you too will feel excellent.  Sometimes it takes sacrifices but doesn't everything.  When you are truly happy, these sacrifices are worth it.   Sometimes you need to be practical and realize if your heart says to have an affair and move away from your 8 children.  This will not lead to life long happiness only temporary (if that).  Nothing that destroys someone else can lead to true happiness.  We all deserve to feel excellent.  What makes you feel excellent?
