Don't get caught with you pants down this flu season. Protect yourself with natural supplements. Ok, you've already learned how natural supplements may help you reduce your risk of the swine flu especially products that are proven to boost your immune system, daily vitamins with vitamin D, and products that are time tested to be absorbed by the body.
However, since we have been receiving a lot of questions on claims that are very questionable, we felt it was necessary to address them.
1. A company guarantees that you will not get the swine flu if you use their supplements/products.
Answer: Run away from this rep/company/product because no one can make a guarantee like that.
What can a natural supplement (or product) do for you realistically? It can reduce your risk of the swine flu among other illnesses. Sometimes, it just takes stepping back and thinking about the claim being made. Quite often, the guarantee ...you'll not get ... is desperation of the sales rep, not necessarily a bad supplement. You need to do your homework and find out if the company is legit. How long have they been in business, how much time and money do these use on research (instead of marketing), and what kind of publications and test do they have on their specific product?
2. You went online and found a negative comment?
Answer? Again, you need to step back and THINK. A person can go online and find a negative comment on anything. Go back to the basic questions listed above to see if the negative comment holds any validity or was it just an upset rep.
I remember once when a customer felt a company was a perfect fit for her, then she went online a saw a negative comment so she decided no to use the company. Unfortunately, she didn't check into the comment to see that it was actually an ad to go with the company in the first place. For example, Is Company A a Scam...read more. She read it as Company A was a scam. Had she done her homework and checked into the questions above, she'd see that the company has been in business for a long time (50 some years) and is #1 in its industry. That doesn't happen to companies that are scams so she missed out on an awesome fit for her needs. Do your homework.
3. I read the label and this supplement says it contains everything I want for only pennies. The company hasn't been around long and never returns my calls but it says guaranteed.
Answer...If a company doesn't communicate, run from them. You wouldn't marry someone who didn't communicate with you. You wouldn't go to a doctor that wouldn't communicate with you. Why in the world would you trust your health and life to someone that doesn't communicate with you.
- Do realize how many products on the market make claims on their labels and the product cannot even be absorbed by your body?
- Do you realize how many contaminate supplements are on the market?
- Do you realize that natural is NOT always best?
This is why it is critical to trust the company because we as individuals don't have the money, the technology, or manpower to retest everything.
Again, the bottom line is to always do your homework, ask your questions, and make sure that science leads the company, not hype and money.
Keep safe and stay smart.
